Why Choose Organic Body Care Products? The Advantages of Natural Products
Organic items may be everywhere, from your local farmer’s market to the detergent aisle at the corner pharmacy. We can be certain that our vegetables and items are free of chemicals that might create major health concerns if we choose organic. However, when it comes to addressing major skin issues, most women are sceptical. Are organic beauty products as effective as non-organic alternatives? Are they truly worth the extra cost? Let us look into it in depth.
Most of us consider health to be a balanced diet and frequent exercise. Of course, these things are critical, but what about the goods we use on our bodies? Because our skin is our biggest organ, it absorbs practically everything we put on it: every day. The average individual lathers and sprays ten different beauty products onto their skin. They unknowingly expose themselves to various unwanted substances that eventually enter our system.
It would help to prioritize organic and natural skin care to live a healthy lifestyle. Here are my top three reasons:
- Organic body care is prepared using the same substances used in organic cuisine. This includes the use of no harsh chemicals, pesticides, or fertilizers. Many chemical substances used as fillers cause more damage than good. Your skin may appear brighter for a few weeks, but synthetic substances can cause inflammation, increased sensitivity, and blocked pores in the long run. When you use organic skin care, you employ products compatible with your body, helping your skin to better balance and heal itself.
- Traditional skin care products include endocrine-disrupting compounds such as phthalates, sodium lauryl sulphide, and parabens. These recognized carcinogens can potentially disrupt the immunological, reproductive, and endocrine systems. The more items you use, the higher the harmful quantities that might enter and build in your body, producing difficulties later on.
- Organic body care products begin with organic components cultivated and processed using environmentally friendly methods. Because these products include no harsh chemicals, substantially less waste and toxicity flow down the drain and back into the environment. When you use organic beauty products, you are improving your skin and internal health and helping the earth.
If the above arguments aren’t enough to persuade you, remember that organic agricultural practices are also more ecologically friendly. This implies that when you buy organic products, you are making a deliberate decision to promote the health of our world.
Many conventional and some natural beauty products begin with a basis of petroleum glycols (butylene or propylene glycols—similar to petroleum jelly). Because of their link with dioxin and other potentially dangerous compounds, petroleum-based substances should be avoided. Other potentially dangerous components in non-organic items include synthetic scents and artificial colors. Which are linked to endocrine disruption, and parabens, which are linked to breast cancer.
On the other hand, we are one of the few organic companies that meet the government’s “made with certified organic ingredients” requirement of 70% or higher. Our products have an organic, unique combination of botanical juice foundation. (aloe, jojoba, grapeseed, shear, and citrus juices) rather than fillers or additional water.
Natural body washes require only a few items (most likely already in your cupboard!) and are quite simple to prepare at home. You may rest confident that no chemicals are being applied to your skin and, consequently, into your body. We’ve included our five recipes for a natural turmeric body scrub below!
Healthy Omega 3 fats help maintain your skin’s lipid barrier, which keeps skin cells moisturized. Low-fat diets can produce dry, flaky skin and make you appear older than you are. Avocado, almonds, walnuts, chia seeds, flaxseeds, fatty salmon, olives, and other similar foods. Most healthful pure fats, like these, are anti-inflammatory, reducing redness and irritation of the body and skin. Avocados and almonds are particularly high in vitamin E, an antioxidant vital for skin health. Nuts and seeds are also high in critical elements such as zinc and iron. Skin and hair issues are known to be caused by zinc and iron deficiencies.
