How does IVF Treatment Pakistan work?
Each case of IVF treatment is unique, but a typical first appointment at IVF Treatment Pakistan looks something like this. First, you are met at the reception and taken to the doctor for an initial consultation, and then the nurse helps you complete the procedures the doctor recommends. Genova IVF Center specialists will plan your every step in detail. You can write or call us anytime to get all the necessary information and ask questions.

Symptoms of infertility and who is eligible for IVF treatment
According to statistics, almost 15% of all couples experience infertility. Fortunately, today we have many tools that promote conception, and over time, these tools are improved and help to achieve better results. IVF treatment is most suitable for women with irregular ovulation cycles, blocked fallopian tubes, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and men with low or irregularly shaped sperm counts.
Doctors say the main sign of infertility is the absence of pregnancy for at least 12 months with regular intercourse. In most cases, there are no other visible symptoms. It is recommended to seek medical help if the couple has been trying to conceive regularly for at least one year if the woman is under 35; after six months, if the woman is 35 years of age or older; immediately after an unsuccessful conception, if a woman is over 40 years old.
Almost 40% of all causes of infertility are associated with problems of the female reproductive system, 40% – with issues of the male reproductive system and 20% – with the so-called “unexplained infertility.” Indicators that are not included in these statistics are vital since the underlying cause determines the treatment and its effectiveness.
Genova IVF uses extensive testing and screening to identify reproductive health issues and develop appropriate solutions accurately. Blocked fallopian tubes, problems with ovulation, endometriosis, advanced maternal age, low sperm count, low sperm motility, and immunological factors can all cause fertility problems, and each of these factors requires individual treatment.

IVF procedure
The IVF procedure consists of five main stages. First, we increase the number of eggs. Women are given an injection that stimulates an increase in the production of eggs in the ovaries compared to the usual natural cycle. The second stage is monitoring the progress and maturation of oocytes. An ultrasound scan is performed to check the development of the eggs, and particular medications are used to help them mature.

When the follicles reach a mature size, an injection of hCG is administered, leading to the eggs’ final development and maturation. The third stage – the collection of eggs from the ovaries – is performed under ultrasound control. The doctor uses a thin needle to remove eggs from the ovary through the wall of the vagina. The procedure is painless and performed under light anesthesia.
The fourth stage of IVF is the fertilization of eggs in the IVF Cost in Pakistan laboratory. Sperm can be mixed with an egg for fertilization (conventional insemination – a standard IVF procedure), or one selected sperm can be injected directly into each mature egg (intracytoplasmic sperm injection, or ICSI). Fertilized eggs (embryos) usually grow and develop within 3 or 5 days. After five days, the source reaches the blastocyst stage. The best quality and most developed embryos are then often carefully placed in the uterus, usually 1 or 2. For embryo transfer, a tiny, flexible sterile catheter is utilized.
