“Empowering Growth: Maropost Welcomes Kristyn Wallace as Country Manager and Vice President of Revenue for Australia”
Kristyn Wallace, the esteemed former Regional Vice President of Revenue and Country Manager for Asia Pacific and Japan at Emarsys, has recently embarked on a new chapter by joining Maropost. In her latest capacity, she undertakes the pivotal role of steering local retailers in Australia towards successful business launches and scalable operations.
Maropost, a dynamic platform renowned for its comprehensive offerings in marketing, commerce, and retail solutions, has been making significant strides since its establishment in 2011. Serving diverse industries such as ecommerce, electronics, wholesale, automotive, travel, and tourism, Maropost has established itself as a global player with a strong presence in North America, Europe, and now, Australia.
This strategic move aligns with Maropost’s commitment to Australia, notably emphasized by its acquisitions of Neto, the leading unified e-commerce platform in 2021, and Retail Express, the country’s pioneering cloud-based point-of-sale platform in 2022. Sean Brady, President and Chief Operating Officer of Maropost, lauded Kristyn Wallace‘s appointment, citing her regional expertise and status as a retail thought leader.
Having excelled during her six-year tenure at Emarsys, where she doubled the company’s business and facilitated the growth of regional merchants, Wallace brings a wealth of experience to her new role. Her familiarity with the Australian market, having lived in the country for over a decade, enhances her ability to connect with local businesses on a profound level.
Expressing her excitement about the opportunity, Wallace stated, “I am thrilled to contribute to the success of Retail Express and Neto in Australia and New Zealand. Both products are a treasure trove of customer insights, and my role involves helping merchants unlock their full potential. Maropost’s substantial investment in ANZ reflects a tremendous opportunity, and I am both grateful and excited to lead the charge.”
Kristyn Wallace holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Mount Allison University and has a rich professional background, including roles as a digital account manager for Salmat, sales manager for Upskilled and Courses Now, in addition to her impactful positions at Emarsys and now Maropost. Her commitment to driving success in the Australian market positions her as a valuable asset to Maropost’s global endeavors.
