7 Marketing ideas, You Can Boost Your Facebook Group
Facebook groups are a great way to connect with your customers and share content. If you don’t have one, create one as soon as possible.
- Host a giveaway. When you host a giveaway on your Facebook group, members are more likely to engage with and share the post.
- Find a hashtag. A hashtag is an easy way for members to search for content related to certain topics, like #marketing ideas or #small business tips. You can use hashtags in your posts and encourage other members to do the same by saying something like “Tag someone who needs this!”
- Create exclusive content. By creating exclusive content that isn’t available anywhere else on the internet, you’ll separate yourself from other similar groups and keep people coming back for more insider info about what you have to offer them as members of your group.
Plan a Webinar
Here are the steps for planning and promoting your webinar:
- Decide on a topic based on what the needs of your group members.
- Choose a date and time that works for everyone in your group (keep in mind that webinars tend to work best during business hours).
- Set up Google Hangouts On Air or another online video platform so people can watch it live.
- Promote it well ahead of time! Send out emails about two weeks before the webinar, and remind people again two days before it happens by posting reminders in Facebook groups or other social media platforms where you share content from your website/blog etcetera). Make sure everyone knows exactly when they should log into their computer or mobile device to join this event if they haven’t already signed up privately through email beforehand).
Host a Giveaway
To kick off the giveaway, you’ll want to announce it on your Facebook Group page. The best way to do this is by creating a post with a title that will compel people to participate in the giveaway. Giveaways are often done as part of an existing contest or sweepstake; if you’ve already done something like this, then simply link back to it with your post. If not, give everyone a heads-up that something’s coming soon!
In addition to enticing members through your posts and discussions on Facebook itself, consider reaching out through other channels like Twitter or Instagram as well.
Find a Hashtag
A hashtag is a word or phrase preceded by the symbol #. It helps your audience find and engage with your content on various social media channels such as Twitter, Instagram, and Google+.
It’s also important to note that hashtags are not limited to one platform; they can be used across different platforms including Facebook groups (which I will focus on in this post). The more people search for a particular hashtag, the more likely it will get picked up by other users who see it as relevant to them or their interests.
Create Exclusive Content
You can give your members something they can’t get anywhere else. For example, you could write an article or create a video specifically for them. Give them information that will help them achieve their goals and make it exclusive to the group so no one else has access to it.
Share your Content with Someone Else’s Audience
To do this, go to the Facebook Page that you want to share your post on and tap Share Link in their app menu (found in the top right corner). You’ll see a list of all of your posts, so pick which one you want to promote. You can also copy-paste links here if you don’t feel like scrolling through all of them! Once done, tap next. Now select who you want to target with this post and hit Send!
Write for Large Publications
If you want to build authority and visibility, writing for large publications is often the best way to do it. But which ones? I recommend writing for sites that have a large audience, as well as high degrees of trust and respect from your target market. This will help drive more traffic to your content, raise its profile and make people more likely to share it which drives even more traffic!
Make something free that Makes you Money
You can give away something valuable to your audience. You can give away something valuable to you, your business, or even your brand and community.
In this case, the value is in the information: it teaches people how to start their own Facebook Group, and it shows them how to make money from it. The more people who know about these things (and apply them), the more people there will be taking part in a Facebook Group with me as an admin.
Your Facebook Group
Sure, you can grow your Facebook group by posting interesting content. But you’ll see better results if you use these marketing techniques as well:
- Post engaging content. The most important thing to remember when posting on your Facebook group is that it’s not just a place for members to discuss topics it’s also used as a marketing tool. Make sure that when people visit your page, they’re not only exposed to what goes on within the community but also what goes on outside of it. Be sure to share news about yourself or your company, as well as industry-related news and trends.
- Create contests and giveaways. You may want to give away prizes like gift cards or branded merchandise from time to time to get people interested in what’s going on with your business; this will make them more likely to join the group and stay active once they’ve already joined up! If possible (and legal), consider running contests where winners get free products or services from yours instead of cash.
The tips above will help you boost your Facebook group. If you want to get started with Facebook groups, it’s easy! Just click on the “Create Group” button on your page, and create an event for your new group.
